Media cards are the core components of the Edupool UI. All content lists — for example "my content", search results, content of a media list, etc. — display individual items as a card. There are several variants of the media card. Sharing the same architecture, each one contains context-specific information and actions. The overview on this page shows the current designs.

Mediathek
The Mediathek is the open searchable catalog of media obtained by a Media Centre and made available to the school/teacher. Here, the next action is to "select" media by moving them to a relevant shelf (either "my content", a media list, or a class).

Catalog
Catalog appears in single-publisher Edupool instances, such as Hueber. The catalog contains all the content published by the publisher. Users can purchase a licence from the publisher.

Licenced (to me)
When a media is licenced to the current user, it is also available for play-out. The media is represented in all contexts by the "licenced" card.
